ALEX MAESTRI JOINS T&A SAN MARINO

Well-travelled Alessandro Maestri is returning home to play in the Italian Baseball League in 2018.

After stints in the minor leagues in the United States, in pro leagues in Japan and South Korea and lastly in Mexico, the 33-year-old right-hander is joining T&A San Marino. He is the fourth new player after Juan Martin, Thomas De Wolf and Vicente Lupo to sign with the club of new manager Mario Chiarini. Maestri already played for San Marino in 2005.

His last appearance in the Italian Baseball League came in 2012 with Rimini.
