Alex Maestri back to the minors.
Following an outing against the Seibu Lions Italian right-hander Alessandro Maestri has been reassigned to the Triple-A team of the Orix Buffaloes in Nippon Professional Baseball.
He appeared in 11 games this year, allowing seven runs (6 ER) on 17 hits and nine walks in 19 1/3 innings, while striking out 19.
